Azhra Moniet (AK Bay Moniet x Fatima Sharaf by Moniet El Sharaf)

Azhra Moniet is an exquisite Straight Egyptian mare. Azhra was chosen for our broodmare band because of her conformation, breeding, chiseled face, well balanced body and her very sweet & loving disposition. We acquired her in January of 2003 in-foal to the extreme Straight Egyptian, AF Cassidy, a Thee Desperado son. The cross produced a beautiful grey colt (Avonti) with a very dishy head, well muscled body, big eyes and an attitude to die for. Avonti is a colt to be watched in the show ring.

Azhra Moniet will be bred to our Polish bred stallion, Majeztic Fame, and to a few select Straight Egyptian stallions. Azhra is currently in training for Halter and Western Pl. and will be shown in 2004.

Azhra Moniet's sire, AK Bay Moniet is a multiple Halter Champion and was named Reserve Junior European Stallion at the 1979 Salon Du Cheval. AK Bay Moniet has produced a U.S. Top 10 Futurity Gelding, the 1987 Egyptian Event World Champion Gelding and many other halter and Performance Champions. Azhra Moniet's dam, Fatima Sharaf, who is owned by Wolfpoint Ranch in TX, is a beautiful and treasured daughter of Moniet El Sharaf. Fatima Sharaf produced the European Halter Champion, Thee Fandango, who is by Thee Desperado. Fatima produced Thee Diva who is also by Thee Desperado.

Fatima Sharaf was bred to AF Cassidy twice and produced 2 beautiful fillies and was bred to Hadaya El Tareef and produced My Lady Anne who now lives in England and owned by Malthouse Arabians near Dovor, England.
